Job Description
Job Title:
Summer 2027Intern-R D Intern Summary:
The intern is to conduct chemistry experiments, perform rubber compounding, take measurements, analyze experimental data, write reports, and present results.Responsibilities Include:
Hands-on experiments- Run different chemical reactions (organic synthesis, polymerization, or rubber compounding)
- Conduct formulation work
- Perform various tests (physical, mechanical, or rheological) Primary Responsibility. Literature search and data analysis
- Search literature to gain understanding of current project
- Analyze experimental data to deduce scientific conclusions Primary Responsibility. Report writing and presentation
- Complete a technical report
- Present the project to pertinent group(s).
Qualifications:
The following are required for the role Hands-on lab experience in chemistry or other related fields. Literature searching skills. Computer skills in Excel, PowerPoint and Word.Program Minimum Qualifications:
The candidate must be actively enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program at the time of application and for at least one semester following the conclusion of the internship. The candidate is expected to be available 40 hours a week for a period of 10-12 weeks between the months of May and August.Education Requirement:
BS or BE inChemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science and Engineerring, and Polymer Science and Engineering What We Offer:
Base Pay Range:
$22.00- $26.
