Job Description

Role Overview:
This role requires a Senior Chemist with hands-on experience in wet chemistry lab equipment and chemical characterization techniques. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring lab safety, performing various chemical analyses, and maintaining compliance with GMP standards in a regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure strict adherence to lab safety protocols while working with hazardous chemicals. Perform chemical characterization using techniques such as FTIR, DSC, and titration methods. Support compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and maintain documentation aligned with audit-ready and traceable systems. Assist in lab equipment and process validation activities (IQ/OQ/PQ) and contribute to overall lab operations.
Required Skills:
Proven experience in handling wet chemistry lab equipment, including pH meters, stir plates, water baths and temperature monitoring systems, dishwashers, fume hoods, drying gloveboxes, Mocon oxygen testers, Karl Fischer test systems, and ovens for KF samples. Strong communication skills, with proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English. Ability to multitask, understand customer requirements, and respond promptly and accurately. Capability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Ability to understand and follow complex written procedures. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and contribute to team goals. Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities with sound situational judgment.
Qualifications:
4-6 years of relevant experience.
Preferred Skills:
Understanding of GMP and regulated lab environments (medical device/pharma preferred). Experience supporting Installation Qualification (IQ), Operational Qualification (OQ), and Performance Qualification (PQ) for lab equipment or processes. Documentation practices aligned with audit-ready and traceable systems. Lab management experience.
