Required Education, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Experience in identification, classification, characterization, packing, loading, arranging for transportation of bulk, drum and lab pack disposal of hazardous materials, waste and residual materials. Oversee, direct and or complete field sampling tasks as needed. Complete chain of custody for samples secured. Stay current and responsible for samples secured. Be able to interpret Analytical reports. Above average knowledge of

EPA, PA. DEP, DOT

regulations, FMCSA, CSA. Excellent ability to evaluate customers waste management operations, determine needs, streamline operations for cost and time savings, establish and implement waste management plans, waste tracking database, reporting and standard operating procedures for diverse customer base. Able to sell initial into new /established accounts. Compliant in DOT, RCRA, Confined Space, Confined Space Rescue, Fork Lift, Mobile Equipment, Lock, Tag, Tag verify. Loads and secures necessary all waste, waste equipment and supplies. Works in potentially elevated noise levels. Works in atmospheres and locations with the potential for exposure to various chemical and physical agents, some of which may be hazardous, toxic, or corrosive. Works in confined spaces, including lifting in low clearance areas. Responsible for meeting and continue to meet all DOT mandated physical, and drug and alcohol testing requirements. Reports for all schedule work shifts before scheduled starting time, and works until scheduled stopping time, as required. Completion of paperwork daily. Climbs ladders and into and out of trucks, tanks, and various other containers. Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Ability to engage in strenuous physical labor. Performs emergency response activities. Ensures proper use of equipment and immediately notifies supervisor of any issues with equipment. Maintains MEI's core values. Attend MEI's Saturday safety meetings once every other month. Quick and immediate response when on call every 5th week. Wear and properly use a variety of levels A-D of personal protective equipment (PPE) including respirators, skin, face, hand and foot protection. Perform other duties as assigned.
