Key Responsibilities:
As a Chemist/Engineer, you will… Support project-based lab experiments for our Kynar products (waterborne fluoropolymer-based coatings) as well as work in polymer synthesis Conduct experiments consisting of making formulations and testing them for physical, mechanical, and weathering properties Develop and conduct research plans, while analyzing and communicating results to other team members, research management, and sometimes customers Contribute to testing improvements and upkeep of lab equipment
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science/Engineering or related No prior work experience required. If you have internship/co-op experience or 1-3 years' of industry experience in liquid formulation, application development, and/or synthesis that is a plus! Associate's degree in a technical field, coupled with 10 years of industry experience in the same Hands-on laboratory skills (academic or professional setting), with ability to conduct experiments safely in a dynamic environment Explore the links below to learn more about life at Arkema!
