Job Description
Associate Chemist - PFAS Analysis - 2nd Shift, Tues-Sat Eurofins seeks an Associate Chemist to prepare and analyze environmental samples, particularly for PFAS analysis using LC/MS techniques. The role involves routine laboratory work including sample preparation, chemical analysis, data evaluation, and instrument maintenance on a second shift schedule (Tuesday-Saturday, 3pm-11:30pm). Responsibilities Prepare environmental samples using standard laboratory techniques Perform chemical analysis and quantify analytical data Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory instruments Record and report test results and document quality control samples Maintain training documentation and perform general laboratory housekeeping Requirements Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Chemistry or related field, or 2+ years laboratory experience Professional English proficiency (reading, writing, speaking) Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship Prior PFAS and/or LC/MS experience preferred Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Proficiency with mathematical calculations and data analysis
