Job Purpose Complete defined tasks of a project or lab work request (LWR) under the supervision of a manager. Will contribute to the completion of research and development projects and support meeting assigned objectives. Key Responsibilities Manage assigned lab work request/projects, including timeline and planning on a weekly basis. Understand formulation and reformulation components to solve internal and external customer issues. Provide data-driven insights to support diagnostics and resolution of issues in manufacturing, application, and formulation. Summarize test data in the form of spreadsheets, reports, and presentation, providing recommendations for next steps. Provide support to sales, marketing and supply chain through reports, presentations, and customer interaction. Represent Research and Development, working effectively with cross-functional groups to include quality control and pilot plants. Conform with all site and laboratory safety requirements and policies, participating in safety programs including audits and safety meetings. Must demonstrate safe practices and behaviors. Job Requirements Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or related field. Background in chemistry/polymers. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office. Experience using SAP preferred. Rewards and Benefits The salary range for these skills is $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 based upon experience. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range.
