Quality Laboratory Chemist 2nd Shift Charlotte, NC Metro Area Salary range $70k
  • $75k plus discretionary bonus potential worth up to 12% US Citizens or Green Card Holders only.
Hours:
Monday
  • Thursday 3pm
  • 11:30pm & Friday 1:30pm

We're seeking a Quality Laboratory Chemist I to perform release, stability, and raw material testing while learning advanced laboratory instrumentation and troubleshooting techniques. Excellent opportunity for a chemist looking to grow within a quality-driven nutraceutical environment!
Must haves:
Bachelor's Degree in
CHEMISTRY
is mandatory. 1 + years of laboratory experience working in a cGMP environment preferred. Experience preferred with operation of laboratory instrumentation including Gas Chromatography (GC) and/or Liquid Chromatography (LC). Effective interpersonal, self-motivation skills, and the ability to interact with all levels of personnel are required.
Instrumentation Exposure Includes:
HPLC GC FTIR
UV/Vis Spectrophotometer Automated Titrators Polarimeter Dissolution & Disintegration Systems Responsibilities Operate and troubleshoot analytical laboratory instrumentation including HPLC, GC, FTIR, UV/Vis, titrators, balances, dissolution, and disintegration equipment. Learn and apply new analytical methods and laboratory technologies as required. Manage assigned projects and complete testing activities within established deadlines. Maintain current knowledge of
USP, FDA, ISO
17025, and other applicable regulatory requirements. Assist with laboratory investigations, including Out-of-Specification (OOS) results, and support corrective actions. Ensure compliance with laboratory procedures, documentation practices, and quality standards.
