Full Job Description The Role:

As the Associate Chemist, reporting to the Director - Application Lab, Fuels, Lubes, Oilfield & Coatings, you will be responsible for running application testing, perform typical characterization, and solving quality control product issues under the direction of a Lead Chemist. Additionally, you will be responsible for supporting aspects of development of new products, procedures, and test methods with minimal daily supervision. How You Will Make an

Impact:

R D - New Product Development, Product Application Testing, Customer Support Works with a Chemist, Lead Chemist or direct manager to conduct research and develop new products or troubleshoot problems of existing products. Conduct flow assurance and fluid flow separation product application testing for in-house and benchmark products and organize the data in a clear and concise manner which can be deciphered easily for data analytics purposes. Conduct fuels and lubricant application testing for in-house and benchmark products and organize the data in a clear and concise manner which can be deciphered easily for data analytics purposes. Conduct routine analytical qualitative and quantitative chemical and physical testing. Evaluate materials for compliance to standards and specifications. Assists in the maintenance, calibration, and repair of laboratory equipment. Is able to handle multiple assignments Is able to suggest alternative approaches within the scope of the experiment or project/process. Report results effectively in a timely fashion Maintain legible, neat and organized laboratory notebooks to thoroughly document their work. Assist as directed in all areas of the lab function.
