Job Description

Job Title:
Chemist Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Chemist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting scientific research, developing new products, and performing various laboratory tests. As a Chemist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and safety of our products through meticulous analysis and experimentation.
Duties:
Performs testing of dietary supplements, raw material and finished products, prepares mobile phases, standards and sample solutions, and maintains appropriate testing documentation. Participates on a team and helps assist in method development, validation, verification and technical investigation efforts. Assists in technical and specialized professional analytical scientist duties. Performs research on assigned projects and studies in support of the company's efforts. Assists in analyzing data, and suggests corrective actions to optimize laboratory operations, technology, and regulatory compliance. Provides interdepartmental and intradepartmental technical assistance and training within the laboratory.
Requirements:
  • 4 year degree in Chemistry or pursuing degree or have a BS, MS, or PhD in the sciences.
  • Proven experience in scientific research and laboratory work
  • Proficiency in wet chemistry and analytical techniques.
  • Preferred experience in HPLC and/or ICP-MS analysis
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis. Specific vision abilities required by this job include near acuity, far acuity, accommodation, color vision, and field of vision, testing may be required.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
