Job Description

FieldBridge is looking for a Chemist in Vernal, UT to work for the world's largest oilfield services company. We offer weekly pay + benefits. Pay is $28-$34/hour | Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM or 7:00 AM-4:00 PM | Weekly pay every Friday | Overtime opportunity available | At $34/hr and 50 hrs/week for example, earn weekly paychecks of approximately $1,870 gross.
Position Overview:
FieldBridge is seeking a Chemist to support daily operations at SLB's US Onshore Regional Laboratory in Vernal, UT. This role is responsible for performing safe, accurate, and reliable analytical testing to ensure chemical program integrity, support field recommendations, and maintain product quality. The Chemist will work with limited supervision on both routine and non-routine testing in a safety-first, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine and non-routine laboratory testing in accordance with approved methods and procedures Accurately document analytical work, observations, and results in laboratory information systems and reports Evaluate, verify, and communicate analytical data to ensure quality, accuracy, and timely reporting Troubleshoot analytical, instrumentation, and sample-related issues and implement corrective actions Maintain laboratory equipment, instrumentation, and workspaces in safe and operational condition
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry or a related scientific field 0-2 years of experience in an industrial or research laboratory setting Ability to follow established protocols and work under direct supervision Strong communication and documentation skills Commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork Hands-on experience with analytical instrumentation and sample preparation preferred Experience in oilfield chemistry or industrial analytical labs a plus
