What the Role Delivers The QC Chemist plays a critical role in ensuring AgroFresh products consistently meet quality, safety, and performance standards. Through accurate laboratory testing, effective quality control processes, and close collaboration with production and product development teams, this role delivers dependable analytical data, supports efficient manufacturing operations, and helps maintain the integrity of AgroFresh's products and brand. Key Responsibilities Perform analyses on samples submitted to the Laboratory. Inspect, approve or reject packaging of finish goods prior to releasing to inventory, to assure it meets Pace's standard of quality. Analyze and approve or reject raw materials to be used by production. Prepare and standardize reagents for analysis and orders. Perform calibration and routine maintenance on laboratory equipment and instrumentation. Maintain record or log-book of all analyses, samples received, raw materials, reagents prepared, calibration and maintenance. Who to Work With Working cooperatively with Product Development Chemists in developing analytical methods and establishing Quality Control parameters for products. Working cooperatively with other chemists in the efficient operation of the Quality Control laboratory.
