Responsibilities Operate, maintain and calibrate analytical instrumentation, including but not limited to: HPLC, GC/GC-MS, ICP-MS, ICP-OES, IC, UV-Vis. Operate, maintain and calibrate radiation measurement equipment, including but not limited to: HPGe, Gamma Counter, LSC (with alpha and beta counting modes), Alpha Spectrometer, gas proportional counters, dose calibrators, survey meters, and wipe test counters. Preparation and analysis of samples (radioactive and non-radioactive) with a variety of instrumentation. Perform radiochemical separations as needed to support product development. Review, evaluate, prepare and follow Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instructions, Protocols and Reports. Understand and prepare equipment documentation. Conduct testing to generate data in support of product development and production. Engage in inter and intra departmental collaborations. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related physical science and minimum two (2) years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. measurements is required. Two (2) years previous experience in a radiochemistry position with an understanding of radioisotopes used in nuclear medicine desired.
