Job Description

The Center for Healthcare Delivery Science (CHDS) at Nemours Children's Health is seeking a full-time Clinical Bilingual Research Coordinator (CRC) . The position is available immediately and is based in Wilmington, DE. This CRC will work primarily with J.J. Cutuli, Ph.D and will require frequent travel to New Jersey and Philadelphia. The CRC will coordinate, implement and complete qualitative and quantitative research studies focused on developing a manualized program to identify and serve students experiencing homelessness. This position involves community-based participatory research. The CRC would be working in the context of Camden City School District in New Jersey multiple days each week. Essential RC duties include assisting the Camden City Schools Homeless Education Liaison with district operations such as updating student information systems and office administrative data for families experiencing homelessness. Bilingual (English/Spanish) language skills are essential and the CRC will sometimes assist in translating materials and engaging Spanish-speaking students and families. Additionally, the CRC will coordinate IRB submissions, recruiting study participants, obtaining informed consent, interacting with community-partners, youth, young adults and parents related to research projects, scheduling and conducting study procedures, collecting and recording study data, maintaining study records, assisting with coordinating financial contracts between community partners, participating in data collection and analysis, and the preparation of scientific presentations, manuscripts, reports, and grants.
Position Requirements:
Minimum of a bachelor's degree or equivalent in education, counseling, social work, or related . Must effectively use Microsoft computer software. Qualitative coding experience preferred. Must be able to work collaboratively with educators and community human service providers.
