Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center Naples Comprehensive Health (NCH) is launching and rapidly expanding a comprehensive Oncology Service Line to meet the needs of one of Florida's fastest-growing communities. This is a high-impact, physician-led opportunity for outstanding Hematology/Oncology physicians who want the resources, infrastructure, and partnerships to help build a premier cancer program to meet the needs of the community by providing integrated cancer care. Northwestern Medicine Collaboration Offers:
Clinical research access through the Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center of Northwestern University, including dedicated clinical trial support staff Specialty Tumor Boards in conjunction with Lurie Cancer Center experts Streamlined access to academic-level subspecialty consultation and educational opportunities Development of innovative care models, including patient navigation support Robust ancillary services: social work, genetic counseling, dietary support, and palliative medicine Commitment to implementing advanced technology for early detection, diagnosis, and treatment Targeted Subspecialties / Leadership Needs NCH is particularly interested in physicians who subspecialize and/or lead program development in the following areas: Hematologist/Oncologist
  • Myeloma Hematologist/Oncologist
  • Acute Leukemia Benign Hematology Medical Oncologist
  • Breast Cancer Medical Oncologist
  • Gastrointestinal (GI) Cancers Medical Oncologist
  • Genitourinary (GU) Cancers Medical Oncologist
  • Thoracic BMT / Cellular Therapy Physicians with an interest in building disease-site programs, developing care pathways, and expanding clinical trial access are strongly encouraged to apply.
The Role As part of our growing oncology team, you will deliver high-quality, compassionate cancer care while helping build the clinical and programmatic foundation for long-term growth. Opportunities include (based on your interests and experience): Developing a disease-focused or subspecialty clinical practice as the service line expands Participation in and growth of a clinical trials portfolio, supported by dedicated trials infrastructure Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and academic partners through tumor boards and case conferences Leadership roles in program development for qualified candidates (service-line, disease-site, quality, research operations, etc.) This position offers strong academic connectivity, clinical research access, and specialty collaboration through Northwestern Medicine, including academic appointments based on clinical background and expertise. Compensation Based on experience and track record Required Qualifications Board-certified or board-eligible in Hematology and Medical Oncology (as applicable to role) Eligible for (or ability to obtain) Florida medical licensure Practice Environment & Support Multidisciplinary model with access to navigation and supportive care services Growing oncology infrastructure designed for high-quality, coordinated cancer care Community-based platform with the ability to practice at a high level while engaging in academic collaboration and research-enabled care
