Research Assistant - Zenacare Research (Miami, FL) About the Role Zenacare Research is seeking an experienced , motivated, and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Research Assistant. This position involves assisting with outreach, clinical and laboratory operations, supporting investigators, and ensuring that all Phase II, III and IV study procedures are performed accurately and efficiently. The selected candidate will work closely with the lead clinical coordinator, site director, and principal investigator (PI) across multiple active studies. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in clinical research and grow into a Clinical Research Coordinator position. You will be part of a dynamic and collaborative environment where professional development and learning are encouraged. Core Job Functions Assist the lead clinical coordinator, site director, and PI with daily research operations and study activities. Support participant outreach, recruitment, screening, and follow-up. Coordinate specimen collection, processing, labeling, and shipment to central laboratories. Maintain accurate and organized study files, logs, and data entry. Prepare study materials, organize supplies, and maintain inventory levels. Schedule participant visits and support communication between participants, sponsors, and CROs. Help ensure all activities follow study protocols, site procedures, and ethical standards. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in any field of science (biology, chemistry, health sciences, or related). Strong work ethics Excellent organizational and communication skills. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and/or Google Workspace Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively Ability to verify and cross-check data for errors and inconsistencies Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a research team. Ability to navigate and enter data into EMR, CRM, CTMS, EDC or other database systems Experience managing spreadsheets, updating records, and generating reports Fast and accurate typing (minimum 45-60 WPM preferred) Drivers licence in good standing Preferred Experience with clinical Phase
