Job Summary:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to conducting follow-up phone calls with study participants, scheduling and administering participant visits, collecting study data and medical records, and clearly explaining study procedures. The role also involves responding to participant questions, escalating concerns when needed, performing study visits, and completing all protocol-required study components.
Please note:
Supervisor provides objectives, deadlines and specific instructions only for new, difficult, and/or unusual work. Work is reviewed upon completion and only occasionally to verify technical accuracy and compliance with practice, policy, and procedures. EE informs supervisor of on-going progress and/or potentially controversial matters. Target hiring range for this position will be between 38,785.50 - $46,000.00 per year. Offered salary will be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
Specific Responsibilities :
Technical Participate in the planning & conduct of research study including participant recruitment and retention. Conduct outbound phone calls to study participants for follow-up, scheduling study visits, and data collection Update participants contact information and follow-up status Respond to participant questions and route concerns to appropriate study staff Document all outreach attempts (calls, voicemails, emails, letters) in tracking systems Prepare and manage study materials related to participant contact Obtains informed consent. Administers tests &/or questionnaires following protocols. Completes basic clinical procedures such as drawing blood & obtaining blood pressure. Participate in study visits such as anthropometric measurements (e.g., height, weight, waist/hip circumference, blood pressure) and other study related assessments according to the protocol.
