Clinical Research Assistant
POSITION SUMMARY
Support the company's research laboratory operations with Molecular Biology and Biochemistry experiments.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Perform hands-on laboratory work necessary molecular biology and biochemistry for development and characterization of methods for protein analysis products General Biochemistry laboratory experiments General Molecular Biology laboratory experiments Handling clinical specimens Prepare technical reports, summaries, protocols, data analysis and maintain laboratory notebooks Maintain critical materials and equipment Maintain laboratory equipment through troubleshooting Contribute to a safe and secure work environment by following established standards and procedures
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
B.S. or M.S (M.A) degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Cellular and Molecular Biology or related field Demonstrated use of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
REQUIRED COMPETENCIES - KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES
Excellent written and oral communication skill
WORKING ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Possible exposure to biological and chemical hazards Must be able to sit for long periods
