Albuquerque, NM Job Details Part-time | Contract 21 hours ago Qualifications Doctor of Medicine Medicine BC/BE Pulmonology Care documentation Attention to detail Clinical assessment documentation Medical License Full Job Description Pulmonologist Sub-Investigator - Clinical Research Physician Resources, Inc. is seeking a Board-Certified Pulmonologist to serve as a Sub-Investigator and assist the Principal Investigator in conducting clinical research trials focused on respiratory conditions. This is an excellent opportunity for a Pulmonologist interested in participating in clinical research while continuing to apply their specialized expertise in pulmonary medicine. The Sub-Investigator will help ensure the safety and well-being of study participants while supporting the successful execution of clinical trials in accordance with study protocols, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), and applicable regulations. Responsibilities Assist the Principal Investigator with the conduct and medical oversight of clinical research studies involving respiratory conditions. Evaluate potential study participants and determine eligibility based on protocol-specific inclusion and exclusion criteria. Conduct medical assessments and provide appropriate clinical oversight throughout the study. Monitor participants for safety concerns, adverse events, and changes in clinical status. Perform and/or oversee pulmonary assessments and specialized testing, including spirometry, FeNO testing, and bronchodilator reversibility testing , as required by study protocols. Review medical histories, physical examinations, laboratory results, and other study-related clinical information. Assist with participant enrollment, follow-up visits, and ongoing medical care related to study participation. Review, complete, and sign study-related source documentation and Case Report Forms (CRFs) as required. Ensure clinical research activities are conducted in compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP), applicable regulations, and study protocols . Collaborate with the Principal Investigator, clinical research coordinators, and other members of the research team. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of participant evaluations and study activities. Prioritize participant safety, confidentiality, and quality throughout the research process. Qualifications MD or DO from an accredited medical school. Board Certified in Pulmonary Disease/Pulmonary Medicine. Active, unrestricted state medical license in good standing. Prior clinical practice experience in pulmonary medicine. Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills. Excellent attention to detail and ability to accurately document clinical findings. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary clinical research team. Familiarity with clinical research and GCP is a plus, but prior clinical research experience is not required .
