What they do
A Clinical Investigator works on a clinical trial, and is responsible for ensuring that an investigation is conducted according to the signed investigator statement, the investigational plan, and applicable regulations; for protecting the rights, safety, and welfare of subjects under the investigator's care; and for the control of drugs under investigation. The Clinical Investigator must also meet requirements set forth by the FDA, EMA or other regulatory body. The qualifications must be outlined in a current resume and readily available for auditors.

- Clinical Research | Part-Time/Full-Time | Albuquerque, NM IMA Clinical Research is seeking a board-certified MD or DO with a background in general medicine and/or metabolic specialties to join our Albuquerque, NM research team as a Principal Investigator.
What You'll Do:
Lead and oversee clinical trials (Phase II-IV; we do not conduct Phase I studies) while ensuring compliance with study protocols and regulatory requirements Screen and evaluate study participants to determine eligibility Monitor participant safety and report adverse events as required Maintain accurate and timely study documentation Collaborate with Sponsors, research staff, and site leadership to support successful trial executionWhat You'll Bring:
MD or DO with an active, unrestricted medical license Board certification in general medicine and/or metabolic specialties Prior experience as a Principal Investigator in clinical trials preferred (Phase II-IV trial experience a plus) Strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and communication skillsWhy Join Us:
