A Clinical Investigator works on a clinical trial, and is responsible for ensuring that an investigation is conducted according to the signed investigator statement, the investigational plan, and applicable regulations; for protecting the rights, safety, and welfare of subjects under the investigator's care; and for the control of drugs under investigation. The Clinical Investigator must also meet requirements set forth by the FDA, EMA or other regulatory body. The qualifications must be outlined in a current resume and readily available for auditors.

Job Description
Our client in Upstate NY, a little more than an hour from Albany, and with a metro of 60K, is seeking an experienced and visionary Hematologist/Oncologist to lead their cancer institute. The program has a collaborative and multidisciplinary model, which includes onsite Radiation Oncologists, Surgical Oncologists, Pathologists and Radiologists, including an active weekly tumor board. The area features quiet rural living, enriched by cultural and outdoor recreational opportunities Base Salary up to $800K. Sign on Bonus of up to $200K. Current Board certification in hematology/oncology, radiation oncology, surgical oncology, or other related specialty with a strong clinical focus in the care of cancer patients Strong focus on multidisciplinary care and access to clinical trials.
