Job Title:
Clinical Research Coordinator Job Description A Clinical Research Coordinator plays a crucial role in clinical research projects, overseeing and managing various aspects of clinical trials and studies. The primary responsibility is to ensure that research protocols are implemented efficiently, ethically, and in compliance with regulatory requirements. Responsibilities Coordinate participant study visits and prepare charts and supplies for study visits. Lead participant tests, procedures, and eDiary setup. Enter data for study visits and maintain participant charts. Send participant reminders for eDiary completion, fasting visits, etc. Attend site initiation visits (SIV) and interim monitoring visits (IM) for primary studies. Interact with study monitors for site-specific and/or patient issues. Assist study monitors during scheduled interim monitoring visits (IMV) and close-out visits (COV). Engage in remote monitor interactions when necessary. Manage investigational product supplies for primary studies and dispense study medication to participants. Answer queries for primary studies as needed. Complete necessary trainings and keep Investigator Site File (ISF) logs updated for primary studies. Act as a point of contact for patient-related escalations/issues such as adverse events (AE), serious adverse events (SAE), compliance issues, eligibility concerns, and unblinding. Review medical records with investigators to ensure all study criteria are met. Attend and contribute to weekly Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) meetings and quarterly staff meetings. Perform additional duties and projects as assigned. Essential Skills Experience in pre-screening patients. Proficiency in clinical research and familiarity with the role of a Clinical Research Coordinator. A degree or equivalent clinical research experience is preferred. Additional Skills & Qualifications Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Proficient in data entry and maintaining accurate records. Work Environment The position is based at a clinical research site that screens and enrolls patients. The site has a team of approximately 15 people, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Media, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $26.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
