Carient Heart and Vascular is a leading cardiovascular group of 20 cardiologists and 19 mid-level providers in Northern Virginia. We value professional growth, quality colleagues, in a well-established successful group practice; dedicated to providing our patients with the highest level of care. We are looking for a friendly, professional, driven Clinical Research Coordinator to join our patient focused team of professionals at our cardiovascular practice .
Position Summary:
A Senior Clinical Research Coordinator (Senior CRC) is a highly organized, experienced clinical research professional responsible for independently managing complex clinical trials, mentoring junior staff, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting operational leadership within a research program or department. Senior CRCs often oversee high-volume or high-complexity studies and act as a key liaison among investigators, sponsors, monitors, regulatory bodies, and research participants.
Responsibilities:
Study Management and Oversight Participant Coordination Regulatory and Compliance Responsibilities Data and Documentation Management Leadership and Mentorship Communication and Collaboration Qualifications:
5+ years of clinical research coordination experience preferred Experience with complex or multi-site studies preferred Strong leadership and organizational skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to manage multiple priorities independently Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills Experience using: NextGen, Epic, Clinical Trial Management Systems (CTMS) High-volume project management Cardiology experience Phlebotomy experience •Position may include travel to various Carient office locations
Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$27.00 - $32.00 per hour
