Position Summary As the Site Support Specialist, you will be the backbone of daily field operations. You will play a critical role in ensuring our project sites are safe, organized, efficient, and fully prepared for daily operations. This position is ideal for a proactive, hands-on individual who enjoys physical work, values teamwork, and wants to gain valuable experience in project operations and site management. A Site Support Specialist is a reliable, detail-oriented individual that conducts physical labor in a professional environment. This role involves working alone, with other employees, and the customer to meet the demands of onsite support. The Site Support Specialist shall be able to move material, drive vehicles, clean-up workspaces, conduct maintenance, and ensure that the space is ready for operations.
Key Responsibilities Site Preparation & Maintenance:
Set up daily work areas, including safety barriers, signage, and equipment. Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free environment throughout the workday.
Material & Inventory Handling:
Receive, inspect, organize, and distribute incoming materials and tools to the appropriate teams. Monitor inventory levels and report shortages.
Operational Support:
Assist skilled technicians, operators, and project leads with various hands-on tasks to keep projects on schedule.
Equipment Care:
Perform basic maintenance, cleaning, and safe storage of tools and machinery. Report any equipment malfunctions immediately.
Safety Compliance:
Strictly adhere to all company safety protocols, OSHA guidelines, and local regulations to ensure a zero-accident environment.
Waste Management:
Properly collect, sort, recycle, and dispose of waste materials and debris according to environmental guidelines.
Background & Travel:
Must pass and maintain a positive background check and travel frequently to meet the Governments on site operational requirements.
Job Requirements:
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
Experience:
Previous experience in construction, warehousing, landscaping, or general labor or college courses are a plus.
Physical Stamina:
Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods in various weather conditions.
Communication:
Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
Teamwork:
A collaborative mindset with a willingness to assist others and adapt to changing daily priorities.
Reliability:
Punctual, dependable, and possessing a strong work ethic. Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds. Must be a U.S. Citizen. Certifications: Valid driver's license and forklift certification (obtained after employment).
Hourly rate:
$20.00 - $30.000 an hour to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills and the abilities of the applicant internal equity, and alignment with market data.
