Job Summary The Field Environment Manager is responsible for implementing and maintaining environmental compliance programs for field projects, ensuring adherence to all applicable federal, state, and local environmental regulations. This mid-level project position in manages environmental permits, plans, and procedures while supporting project teams through training and guidance. The role may supervise environmental personnel and is expected to perform medium- to high-complexity environmental management tasks on large, moderately complex projects. Job Description Manage all aspects of environmental compliance for field projects. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations. Implement and maintain environmental policies, procedures, and standards. Implement environmental permits, plans, and regulatory requirements throughout project execution. Conduct environmental inspections, audits, and compliance reviews at project sites. Develop and deliver environmental training programs for employees, contractors, and project teams. Monitor project activities to identify and mitigate environmental risks. Maintain environmental documentation, records, and regulatory reports. Coordinate with regulatory agencies, project management teams, and stakeholders regarding environmental matters. Investigate environmental incidents and implement corrective and preventive actions. Provide environmental guidance and support to field personnel and project leadership. Assist with environmental planning during project development and execution phases. Track environmental performance metrics and recommend continuous improvement initiatives. Supervise and mentor environmental professionals as assigned. Skills Required Minimum of 5 years of environmental management or environmental compliance experience. Required experience supporting Combined Cycle power generation projects (gas plant experience may be considered). Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local environmental regulations. Experience implementing environmental permits, plans, and compliance programs. Knowledge of environmental auditing, inspections, and reporting processes. Ability to develop and deliver environmental training programs. Strong problem-solving and risk assessment skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational and project management abilities. Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary project teams and regulatory agencies. Leadership and supervisory experience preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and environmental reporting systems. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced field environment. Education/Training/Certifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Environmental certification, Bachelor's Degree preferred. GAS Energy Staffing LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
