Weston Solutions is searching for an enthusiastic and dedicated Senior Environmental Scientist, Geologist, or Engineer under our highly successful
US EPA START
program. The selected candidate will be provided with a wide range of leadership opportunities and field experience to broaden their professional skills while working on unique assignments for our strategic Client. Our multidisciplinary team participates in a variety of projects under the EPA Removal and pre-Remedial programs, including hazardous waste site investigations, environmental assessments, removal actions, preparedness and prevention planning, emergency response to chemical and oil spills, and other technical assignments. Travel is required mainly throughout New England.

Project management Extensive client contact Leading field activities, data interpretation, report preparation Other technical support activities.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Minimum of 8 years of experience and a B.S. degree in Environmental Science, Biology, Chemistry, Geology, Engineering or other scientific discipline is required. 40-hour OSHA Hazwoper training Direct on-scene experience with hazardous substances, and oil releases and spills Strong communication, interpersonal and analytical skills Solid organization skills, ownership, and accountability Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and anticipate team needs. The successful candidate will also have a strong desire to support the mission of protecting public health and the environment.
