Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and maintain site-wide environmental compliance programs, including air, water, wastewater, stormwater, and hazardous waste. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations and site permits Serve as the primary interface with regulatory agencies and manage inspections, reporting, and correspondence. Own environmental permitting, compliance assessments, audits, and corrective actions Provide technical guidance and training to operations, engineering, and site partners Support environmental aspects of projects, expansions, and operational changes Track regulatory changes and proactively assess site impact and response needs Manage the 3rd Party contract for site waste disposal services (hazardous waste and non-hazardous waste). Serve as Emergency Response Coordinator for RCRA compliance.Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field Experience managing environmental compliance programs in a regulated manufacturing or pharmaceutical environment Strong working knowledge of EPA and North Carolina environmental regulations Proven experience with permitting, reporting, and regulatory agency engagementAdditional Information:
Role is Monday through Friday based. Occasional extended hour and / or off-hour work may be required. The anticipated wage for this position is $65,250 - $169,400 Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
