Job Description
Lu Engineers, PC is a full-service environmental engineering firm serving clients across New York, with offices in Rochester, Buffalo, Binghamton, Syracuse, NYC and Utica. We are seeking a full-time Environmental Specialist to support a variety of environmental projects in the field and in collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, and professional, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. This role involves interaction with state and local government representatives, commercial and industrial property owners, contractors, and other project stakeholders, so strong communication and coordination skills are important. A valid NYSDOL Air & Project Monitor certification is preferred but not required. Training and certification support will be provided for the right candidate. Applicants must have a valid driver's license in good standing, a reliable vehicle, and current automobile insurance. Some travel, including occasional overnight stays, is required, and eligible travel expenses will be reimbursed. This is a full-time, hourly position with an expected schedule of at least 40 hours per week. Most work is performed during the Monday through Friday day shift; however, occasional early mornings, evenings, night shifts, and weekend work may be required.
