Director of Special Education Position Overview:
The East Liverpool City School District is seeking a highly compassionate, adaptive, and structured Junior High Multicategorical Intervention Specialist to lead our self-contained/resource room learning environment. This critical role serves students in grades 78 who present a diverse blend of multi-categorical needs, which may include mild-to-moderate or moderate-to-intensive cognitive delays, specific learning disabilities, emotional/behavioral challenges, and autism spectrum disorders. The ideal candidate will be skilled at building a predictable, nurturing classroom culture that bridges academic instruction, social-emotional development, and life skills training to empower junior high students to reach their highest potential.
