Job Description
Required:
Holidays (Thanksgiving & Christmas), monthly staff meetings and annual staff retreatRate:
commensurate with experience and education ($20-22/hour)Responsibilities:
- Ready and willing to contribute to creating a vibrant and welcoming environment, positively engaging with guests, volunteers, co-workers, and partners with respect and genuine enthusiasm
- Welcome each guest in a genuine manner that reflects the hospitality of Face to Face.
- Maintain an active and aware presence throughout the building
- Observe interactions and enhance the experience for guests by making sure that potential conflicts are averted
- Promote a peaceful environment and de-escalate any conflicts in a trauma informed manner
- Enhance an environment of teamwork, positive energy, and collaboration by promoting an atmosphere of unity and fairness
- Share all pertinent information regarding day-to-day activities and issues with supervisor in a timely manner
- Any other duties needed to help drive our vision, fulfill our mission, and abide by our organization's values
- Exhibit in daily actions the mission and values of Face to Face with
Hospitality, Mutuality, and Transformation Requirements:
- High School or equivalent / College degree preferred
- 3 years of relevant work experience
- Some mental health or social work training or experience
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated de-escalation skills
- Willingness to receive on-going training in de-escalation attitudes and skills
- Strong work ethic
- Ability to work with others in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills
