As an integral part of the Environment & Sustainability (E&S) team, the Site Environmental & Sustainability Coordinator assumes a leadership position, spearheading Kimberly-Clark's (K-C) commitment to Better Care for a Better World. This role provides strategic leadership specifically for the environmental aspects of E&S programs and systems within a low E&S level complexity site. The position ensures that the facility is strategically aligned and operating in conformance with K-C E&S Standards and in compliance with local legal requirements. Through influence without authority and/or direct reporting relationships, the position works collaboratively to identify and direct appropriate process and systems that elevate site program maturity, effectively manage risks and deliver continuous improvement in environmental and sustainability results. Site E&S Coordinators may lead a team of professionals to assist in delivering on accountabilities and reports to the Segment E&S Operations Leader. In this role, you will:Legal Compliance Management:
Interpret, understand, and monitor/manage the implications of relevant legal requirements applicable to site activities and operations.Risk Management:
Able to identify and understand environmental hazards, assess associated risks, and develop similar skills and capabilities in others.Subject Matter Expertise:
Demonstrate competence in relevant environmental and sustainability topics, especially about topics addressed by K-C E&S Perf. Stds. and associated operation-specific risks.Leadership Incident Support:
Lead, conduct and guide environmental incident investigations and conduct causal analyses while building similar skills and capabilities in others.Training Delivery:
Deliver basic environmental and sustainability training common in less complex operations.Program Assessments:
Execute routine checks and self-assessments of the site's environmental and sustainability program maturity and performance for operations of low complexity.Leadership Skills:
Demonstrate relevant leadership skills related to accountability, positive role modeling, and commitment as per the Leadership Curriculum.Technological Acumen:
Leverage data and digital systems/platforms to improve decision-making and problem-solving. Address technological advancements, such as automation, as relevant to tasks/duties of the role.Project Management and Change Support:
Exhibit capabilities in project management and managing change effectively.Lean Mindset and Collaboration:

Ensure the site is compliant with K-C and regulatory controls and requirements related to environmental matters.E&S Management System Ownership:
Take ownership of the relevant environmental and sustainability components within the site's E&S Management System.Risk Management:
Identify environmental aspects, hazards, emerging requirements, etc., and verify that they are managed to acceptable levels of risk or impact. Define the environmental and sustainability risk reduction strategy for the site, lead implementation of the plan, and continuously assess the effectiveness of performance. Implement & Manage ISO E&S management system: Lead the facility's effort to elevate the E&S operating model to align withISO 14001
2026 release. Implement strategies and initiatives to continually improve the effectiveness of the E&S programs.Strategic Alignment:
Embed K-C's E&S strategies and partner to drive execution Lead the facility's initiatives to improve the maturity of environmental and sustainability programs. Collaborate with segment and global teams to ensure consistent application of E&S standards and best practices for environmental & sustainability. Drive facility E&S objectives through pipeline ideation & execution, CPC/Sustainability systems alignment, and calibration with plant & central teams.Objective Setting:
Deliver Sustainability 2030 goals (and create value) by pulling through best practices/technologies and incorporating into plans, KPIs, and budget. This includes water use reduction, climate emissions reduction, waste elimination, and chemicals of concern elimination. Define E&S objectives for the site and assess effectiveness of performanceEvent Investigations:
Lead environmental event investigations to ensure thorough root cause evaluations and verify the effective implementation of corrective/preventative actions. Verify the implementation of effective corrective and preventive actions to mitigate the recurrence of incidents. Escalate appropriately per the E&S escalation processTraining and Orientation:
Ensure all employees undergo appropriate environmental and sustainability orientation and training programs.Contractor Compliance:
Ensure adherence of contractors to relevant K-C standards and E&S requirements specifically for environmental & sustainability matters.Data Analysis and Reportin g:
Implement E&S rollouts of next generation digital, reporting and assurance within site to drive resource efficiency and effectiveness and build equity in K-C's brands Utilize digital systems/platforms to conduct analysis of environmental and sustainability data. Applies procedures and controls to ensure data integrity. Provide insights and recommend improvement actions based on data analysis.
