Job Description

Job Summary Our client is seeking an Environmental Queue Coordinator to support their team! This individual will be responsible for managing project intake, routing, tracking, reporting, and workflow administration within the Environmental Tracking System (ETS) and Geographic Environmental Analysis Reporting System (GEARS). The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing a high-volume queue of incoming environmental review requests. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with project submitters, environmental reviewers, IT teams, and other stakeholders to ensure projects move efficiently through the review process while maintaining data accuracy and compliance. Core Responsibilities Process and review incoming project submittals to ensure completeness and accurate project information Route projects to appropriate environmental subject matter experts (SMEs) for review Monitor project review status, track timelines, and ensure environmental reviews are completed efficiently Issue environmental releases upon completion of required reviews Maintain and administer Environmental Tracking System (ETS) and GEARS databases Perform QA/QC reviews to ensure accuracy and integrity of environmental data and reporting Develop, maintain, and distribute reports used to track workflow metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) Provide weekly, monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc reporting to support environmental compliance and operational teams Serve as the primary liaison between Environmental Services and IT for system troubleshooting, enhancements, and upgrade requests Train internal and external stakeholders on environmental workflow tracking systems and processes Develop and maintain training materials, records, and documentation Support continuous process improvement initiatives and workflow optimization Required Skills/Experience (Must-Haves) Associates Degree and/or 2 years of equivalent education or work experience 2+ years of utility, environmental, project coordination, project controls, operations support, or related experience Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage a high-volume workload and multiple priorities simultaneously Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy Strong written and verbal communication skills Experience working with data management, reporting, workflow tracking, or project coordination systems Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel Preferred Skills/Experience (Nice-to-Haves) Experience with SharePoint, SAP, ECM, Power BI, and Power Automate Experience supporting environmental compliance, permitting, licensing, regulatory, utility, or infrastructure-related projects Familiarity with GIS systems and project location mapping Experience developing reports, dashboards, and KPI tracking metrics Experience training users and maintaining process documentation Knowledge of environmental regulations, utility operations, permitting, public affairs, project controls, construction, or regulatory compliance processes Key Competencies & Behaviors Attention to

Compensation & Benefits Pay Range:
The approximate pay range for this position is between $30.00 and $36.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
