Part-Time or Full-Time (25-40 hours/week) Hybrid preferred Weatherford / DFW; remote possible after training
Support municipal advisory work by researching city programs, preparing client-ready summaries, and supporting waste, recycling,
organics, funding, and procurement projects.
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Research municipal waste, recycling, organics, and sustainability programs
Compare peer cities, policies, fees, contracts, and service models
Support client memos, assessment reports, and briefing materials
Assist with RFP analysis, grant research, and data tables
Contribute to structured documentation and knowledge management systems
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Strong reading, writing, and analytical skills
Ability to summarize complex policy or technical information clearly
Comfortable with spreadsheets, documents, and online research tools
Self-directed and able to manage tasks with minimal supervision
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Coursework or experience in public administration, environmental studies, sustainability, business, economics, urban planning, data
analysis, or government
PHYSICAL & COGNITIVE REQUIREMENTS
Sedentary to light work primarily computer-based; prolonged sitting at a workstation
Ability to use keyboard, mouse, and monitor for extended periods (4-8 hours/day)
Visual acuity sufficient to read documents, websites, spreadsheets, and digital screens
Effective written and verbal communication via telephone or video conferencing
Strong cognitive ability including sustained attention, detail orientation, and structured thinking
No heavy lifting required occasional handling of documents up to 10 lbs
