Job Description

General Purpose:
Perform vibration and shock testing for a variety of customers through different industries, in accordance with requirements defined by the customer and per Environment Associates Standard Operating Procedures and training.
Responsibilities/Duties:
Program vibration software (Data Physics) to perform vibration, shock, and other similar forms of testing on electro dynamic vibration systems. Follow customer provided testing procedures. Mounting of any number of accelerometers required for testing (single axis / triaxis). Assist customers in mounting of their product and fixtures to Environment Associates vibration systems. Evaluate head expanders / adapters / slip plates and determine the best combination to perform testing. Complete test reports using Microsoft Word / Microsoft Excel. Work in conjunction with the lab manager in order to streamline workflow. Perform regular maintenance on shaker and amplifier systems.
Minimum Qualifications Knowledge:
Experience working in the environmental testing field (3+ Years Recommended).
Education:
None required (Associates / Bachelors / Trade School welcome). Fundamental knowledge of computers (Word / Excel / Etc.).
Skills/Abilities:
Must be proactive and able to follow a posted job schedule. Able to follow instructions provided by Environmental Associates management, as well as the customer. Familiarity with testing equipment (Power supplies, Data Acquisition units, Multi-Meters, etc.). Must be able to interact with customers on a professional level. Experience in a test lab environment is desirable. Must be able to follow customer procedures. Must be able to work alone on projects, however, must also be flexible and able to work as a team.
