An Environmental Technician assists with testing and sampling or monitoring needed for environmental clean-up efforts or projects to mitigate environmental pollution. Assists environmental engineers or environmental scientists. Collects air, water or soil samples, operates field test equipment and conducts laboratory research. Coordinates work at sites with contaminated soil or water, or hazardous waste clean-up sites.

- AECOM is currently seeking an Environmental Technician for employment in Fort Collins, CO office.
- In this role, you will primarily work with Project Manager to support remedial operations, maintenance, and monitoring projects throughout the state of Colorado, New Mexico, Montana and potentially other locations.
- Qualifications
- Minimum Requirements
- + Must possess a High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Preferred Qualifications
- + Ability to obtain the Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) within 30 days of hire + Mechanical skills and hands-on skills + Experience with various media sampling (soil, groundwater, and waste). + Experience with health and safety programs, and effective communication skills (verbal, field notes, etc.). + OSHA 40-hour Training

- Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The range for this position is $20 to $25.
