Where You'll Work Located in Lakewood, Colorado, St. Anthony Hospital is a Level I Trauma Center where we provide a full range of medical specialties and health care services to Denver and the surrounding region through our state-of-the-art medical campus and home base for Flight For Life Colorado. With four trauma rooms including the T-10 room, a dedicated field-to-surgery suite ready 24/7 for trauma surgeons and specially trained teams, our staff can provide life-saving care to the most severely ill and injured patients. This Environmental Service role will be responsible for: Maintaining safe and clean environments for patients, staff, and visitors by primarily cleaning procedural areas that are established by the department. Providing excellent customer services when working with patients, visitors and other staff members, and that as a Environmental professional you will have industry knowledge in the cleaning of specific departments such as the Emergency Department, Operating Rooms and other unique procedural areas. Job Requirements In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following: Strong communication skills; ability to read, write and speak English. Must possess basic computer skills. Can distinguish the differences between levels of disinfection and perform low and intermediate level disinfection. Ability to explain orally or in writing the differences between levels of disinfection and perform intermediate level disinfection in areas where required. Ability to operate necessary equipment/machines Effectively uses computers and mobile devices. Respectfully listens to viewpoints and ideas of others. Communicates orally or in writing openly and candidly,creates an environment where co-workers and teammembers reciprocate in kind. Respectfully listens toviewpoints and ideas of others.
