An Environmental Technician assists with testing and sampling or monitoring needed for environmental clean-up efforts or projects to mitigate environmental pollution. Assists environmental engineers or environmental scientists. Collects air, water or soil samples, operates field test equipment and conducts laboratory research. Coordinates work at sites with contaminated soil or water, or hazardous waste clean-up sites.

- to join our Remediation team in Jacksonville, FL.
- Qualifications
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
+ HS + 2 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education + Experience operating and maintaining soil and groundwater remediation equipment + Ability to work outdoors, often in inclement weather conditions + Valid US Driver's License and as a condition of employment must pass the AECOM Motor Vehicle screening + As a condition of employment, candidates must pass a drug screeningPREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
+ Strong mechanical aptitude and experience with soil and groundwater remediation technologies, design, implementation, and operation/maintenance activities + Current 40-hr HazWOPER Certification and associated refresher + Current First Aid, CPR and AED certification + Strong understanding of project documentation requirements including taking organized and detailed field notes, recording observations- Additional Information

- Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The range for this position is $23 to $27.
