A Day in the Life Our Field Service Technician position is located in our Tampa, FL office. The compensation range for this role is $25/hr. to $35/hr. commensurate with experience, skills, and geographic location. To thrive in this role, you'll be comfortable taking ownership of the following responsibilities: Operates field monitoring equipment including but not limited to: PID/FID, pH, EC, DO, GEM, turbidity, water level, LEL meters, trimble (or other geolocating equipment) Carefully documents monitoring and testing results on field forms and prepares field daily reports and data sheets Collects samples using a variety of sampling methods Conducts environmental collection, monitoring, sampling, testing and basic evaluation at various locations Performs operations and maintenance (O&M) on environmental treatment equipment Completes Chain-of-Custody forms and labels samples, strictly following regulatory handling and preservation protocols for various sample media and delivers samples to an environmental laboratory Interacts with clients, presents a professional appearance, and wears appropriate PPE on job sites Measures and records treatment operational data Enters monitoring data from the field inspection forms into electronic spreadsheets in Word and/or Excel format Ensures proper labeling and handling of hazardous material and waste Communicates promptly with Project Managers to inform of site conditions and activities Troubleshoots and repairs mechanical system issues or failures Manages proper disposal for hazardous material and waste. Maintain‌ ‌confidentiality‌ ‌at‌ ‌all‌ ‌times‌ ‌ Exercise‌ ‌safe‌ ‌work‌ ‌practices‌ ‌by‌ ‌following‌ ‌all‌ ‌Company‌ ‌safety‌ ‌rules‌ ‌and‌ ‌OSHA‌ ‌regulations,‌ ‌ including‌ ‌attendance‌ ‌at‌ ‌all‌ ‌required‌ ‌safety‌ ‌training‌ ‌programs‌ ‌ Participate‌ ‌in‌ ‌the‌ ‌company's‌ ‌continuous‌ ‌improvement‌ ‌programs‌ ‌and‌ ‌provide‌ ‌support‌ ‌to‌ ‌team‌ ‌efforts Keep‌ ‌up-to-date‌ ‌and‌ ‌current‌ ‌on‌ ‌industry‌ ‌trends‌ ‌by‌ ‌completing‌ ‌formal‌ ‌training,‌ ‌reviewing‌ ‌ professional‌ ‌publications,‌ ‌and‌ ‌attending‌ ‌professional‌ ‌workshops‌ ‌ Perform‌ ‌other‌ ‌duties‌ ‌as‌ ‌assigned‌ Your Expertise and Skills These requirements reflect the knowledge, skills and abilities that help you do your best work here. Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent 2+ years of experience performing environmental collection, monitoring, sampling, testing and basic evaluation and/or Bachelor's degree in Geology, Environmental Sciences, and/or Engineering in lieu of experience 2+ years of experience in the Operation and Maintenance of Remediation systems including but not limited to Advanced Electrical and Mechanical Troubleshooting (technical background in electrical or HVAC in lieu of experience) 2+ years working within the Florida Department of Environmental Protection Petroleum Restoration program (PRP) and FDEP Standard Operating Procedures or a comparable regulatory environment Must have a valid Class C driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability/willingness to travel Complete and maintain

environmental health and safety class, and annual 8-hour refresher classes Must have the ability to lift 50 pounds such as monitoring equipment and tools, with or without assistance Proficient with Microsoft Office software Be able to deliver and receive electronic documents Ability to interface with cross-functional teams and all levels of personnel/management Strong problem solving and analytical skills Solid organization and time/project management skills Effective verbal and written communication skills, must have legible handwriting Able to work independently Preferred Qualifications 5+ years of experience performing environmental collection, monitoring, sampling, testing and basic evaluation 5+ years of experience Florida Department of Environmental Protection Petroleum Restoration Program Regulations and Standard Operating Procedures 5+ years of experience in the Operation and Maintenance of Remediation systems including but not limited to Advanced Electrical and Mechanical Troubleshooting, Air Sparge/ SVE, Bioaugmentation #INDONT #LI-MG1 Onterris is a leading global environmental solutions company partnering with organizations to solve complex challenges where environmental pressures, regulatory expectations and operational risks intersect.
