Week Position Overview:
Seeking a dedicated Environmental Services Technician to help maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary healthcare environment. This role is essential to infection prevention, patient safety, and overall facility operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform cleaning and disinfection of patient rooms, clinical areas, common spaces, and equipment Maintain cleanliness of floors, surfaces, and facility areas Replenish supplies, including SPD materials, paper products, and inventory items Follow established infection control procedures and safety protocols Inspect, maintain, and properly utilize cleaning equipment Dispose of waste and biohazard materials according to facility guidelines Support departmental operations through effective teamwork and communication Ensure all assigned areas meet cleanliness and sanitation standards
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED Strong attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent organizational and time-management skills Reliable and safety-conscious work ethic
Preferred Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of relevant environmental services, housekeeping, janitorial, or facility maintenance experience Previous healthcare, hospital, clinic, or healthcare-support environment experience
