Assists environmental engineers or environmental scientists. Collects air, water or soil samples, operates field test equipment and conducts laboratory research. Coordinates work at sites with contaminated soil or water, or hazardous waste clean-up sites.

- Parsons is looking for a talented Environmental Field Technician to join our team!
Key responsibilities include:
+ Perform routine operations, maintenance and monitoring of remediation systems. + Troubleshoot remediation system operational issues + Conduct environmental monitoring and sampling + Collect site data and provide documentation for site activities + Provide contractor oversight for routine tasks and non-routine projects + Collaborate with cross-disciplinary project team to execute field investigations and system optimization initiatives.Key Expectations:
+ Experience troubleshooting mechanical/electrical equipment + Understanding of personal protective equipment (PPE) + Clean driving record important + Prior experience in an environmental field preferred + Prior experience with pumps and piping systems preferred + Ability to work independently, outdoors in potentially extreme weather conditions, typical of midwestUS. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
High School diploma, or equivalent, and typically 2+ years of related work experience preferred.May be required to attend:
- 40-hour OSHA training course (with an annual 8-hour update).
- OSHA-10 hr (General or Construction).
- First aid, CPR, AED, and on site safety training

Salary Range:
