• Parsons is looking for a talented Environmental Field Technician to join our team!

Key responsibilities include:

+ Perform routine operations, maintenance and monitoring of remediation systems. + Troubleshoot remediation system operational issues + Conduct environmental monitoring and sampling + Collect site data and provide documentation for site activities + Provide contractor oversight for routine tasks and non-routine projects + Collaborate with cross-disciplinary project team to execute field investigations and system optimization initiatives.

Key Expectations:

+ Experience troubleshooting mechanical/electrical equipment + Understanding of personal protective equipment (PPE) + Clean driving record important + Prior experience in an environmental field preferred + Prior experience with pumps and piping systems preferred + Ability to work independently, outdoors in potentially extreme weather conditions, typical of midwest

US. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

High School diploma, or equivalent, and typically 2+ years of related work experience preferred.

May be required to attend:

• 40-hour OSHA training course (with an annual 8-hour update).
• OSHA-10 hr (General or Construction).
• First aid, CPR, AED, and on site safety training

Salary Range:
