Job Description

A Brief Overview The Environmental Services Team Leader is a working leader responsible for supporting the daily operations of the Environmental Services department. Under the direction of the Environmental Services Supervisor, this role helps ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and employees while providing leadership and guidance to department team members. What You Will Do Lead daily workflow by prioritizing assignments, monitoring department activities, and supporting patient throughput Perform quality audits and inspections to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met Provide coaching, training, and support to Environmental Services team members Ensure compliance with infection prevention practices, PPE requirements, and hospital policies Perform Environmental Services duties, including cleaning, waste processing, and maintaining department areas Support emergency response procedures, recycling initiatives, and facility operations What You Bring High School Diploma or GED required Minimum of one year of Environmental Services experience required Experience with computer systems such as work order systems, EPIC, or training platforms is preferred
