An Environmental Technician assists with testing and sampling or monitoring needed for environmental clean-up efforts or projects to mitigate environmental pollution. Assists environmental engineers or environmental scientists. Collects air, water or soil samples, operates field test equipment and conducts laboratory research. Coordinates work at sites with contaminated soil or water, or hazardous waste clean-up sites.

Job Description
Day-to-Day:
4 days a week, 10 hrs. a day split 3:45 AM - 5:00 PM daily Conduct environmental sampling (soil, water, waste, etc.) Perform inspections to ensure compliance with environmental regulations Operate environmental and field equipment Maintain accurate records, reports, and compliance documentation Support hazardous waste management and spill investigations Monitor and help protect wildlife (including desert tortoise) Assist with environmental compliance data tracking and reporting Promote environmental awareness across the site Support sustainability initiatives (reclamation, water conservation, biodiversity) Oversee maintenance/repairs related to environmental systems We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
