An Environmental Technician assists with testing and sampling or monitoring needed for environmental clean-up efforts or projects to mitigate environmental pollution. Assists environmental engineers or environmental scientists. Collects air, water or soil samples, operates field test equipment and conducts laboratory research. Coordinates work at sites with contaminated soil or water, or hazardous waste clean-up sites.

Adirondack Environmental Services, Inc. (AES) is a leading and local environmental laboratory that has been serving the capital region since 1984. Description Wet Chemistry Requirements:
  • A working understanding of general laboratory practices.
  • Prior laboratory experience outside of college courses is preferred.
  • The ability to follow a standardized procedure on a routine basis. This job entails conducting analyses on water, soil, and other environmental samples. This position has no client/public interaction.
