Competitive Pay:

We're growing, and we need dedicated Environmental Technicians to help us continue delivering top-notch services to our community! Job Description We're hiring an Environmental Technician to support field operations on environmental and remediation projects. This is a hands-on, physical role ideal for someone who likes working outdoors, follows safety procedures, and takes pride in getting the job done right. Environmental Technicians work as part of a crew performing labor-intensive tasks related to environmental cleanup, site work, and waste handling. Responsibilities Perform manual labor on environmental and remediation job sites Assist with soil, water, and waste handling activities Operate basic hand and power tools (training provided) Load, unload, and transport materials and equipment Follow all safety procedures, including use of PPE Maintain a clean and organized work site Work outdoors in varying weather conditions Support supervisors and crew members as needed We'd Love You if You… Have a valid driver's license, clean driving record, and can pass a background check & drug screen. License must be Real ID compliant, and if not, obtained within 90 days of hire. Can lift 75+ lbs and work in confined spaces safely. Write clearly and communicate—document your work accurately. Are dependable, proactive, hardworking, and not afraid to get your hands (or boots) dirty. Thrive under occasional emergency calls; you're on board for overtime, some weekends, and one week per month on-call rotation.

Requirements:
A valid Driver's License and Insurable Driving Record Able to pass Background Check and Drug Screen Ability to hook up and pull equipment and trailers to job sites Ability to operate non-CDL pump trucks Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in confined spaces Follow all safety protocols and company policies Strong communication skills and ability to properly document job completion information Ability to work overtime, weekends, and be on call once a month for emergency needs River City is a Drug Free Workplace that follows all FEDERAL guidelines for drug testing, which prohibits the use of marijuana.
