Assists environmental engineers or environmental scientists. Collects air, water or soil samples, operates field test equipment and conducts laboratory research. Coordinates work at sites with contaminated soil or water, or hazardous waste clean-up sites.

  • 12:00am, every other weekend, rotating holidays Hours per two-week pay period

Minimum Education High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum Work Experience Prior work experience in the environmental services field preferred. Experience working in sterile/infection control environment desirable. Required Licenses/Certifications D.O.T. hazardous material certification or ability to obtain. Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities Good communication skills Demonstrated ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions. Time management skills Ability to innovate new methods of service delivery Ability to remain calm in stressful situations without evidence to patients and visitors. Demonstrated Moderate knowledge of basic computer skills. Ability to physically perform tasks as indicated by successful completion of functional testing.
