Full Job Description Infection Preventionist Nurse Arden Park Post Acute Pay:

$40-$45/hour Arden Park Post Acute is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented LVN Infection Preventionist Nurse to join our team. This is a great opportunity for a nurse who is passionate about resident safety, quality care, and maintaining a clean, compliant clinical environment. We're looking for someone who is proactive, organized, and confident—someone who can take ownership of infection control processes while working collaboratively with nursing leadership and staff.

What We're Looking For:

A motivated LVN who understands the importance of infection prevention in a skilled nursing setting and is committed to protecting both residents and staff. The ideal candidate is knowledgeable, approachable, and able to educate and guide teams effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and implement the facility's infection prevention and control program Monitor, track, and report infections in accordance with state and federal guidelines Ensure compliance with CDC, OSHA, and public health standards Conduct staff education and ongoing in-service training related to infection control Perform audits, rounds, and surveillance to identify risks and implement solutions Collaborate with the DON and interdisciplinary team to improve outcomes Maintain accurate documentation and reporting systems

Qualifications:

Active LVN license in California Experience in infection prevention or strong clinical background in skilled nursing/post-acute care Knowledge of infection control regulations and best practices Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent communication and teaching abilities Why Arden Park Post Acute?
