Job Summary and Qualifications The Infection Prevention ist promotes and delivers high quality, patient-centered care by assisting with the administration of Infection Prevention policies, procedures and programs. As a member of the Infection Prevention program and team, t h e Infection Preventionist identifies, investigates, reports, and monitors the incidence of nosocomial infections among patients and personnel , and implements policies and procedures to prevent cross-contamination. The Infection Preventionist is also responsible for assisting with inservice programs related to infection prevention and infection control , and with the clinical aspects of the Employee Health Program, including pre-employment processing, occupational health testing and surveillance.
What qualifications you will need:
Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma, required Bachelor of Science in Nursing or health-related field 1+ years experience in Infection Control, preferred 1+ years experience in a clinical setting, preferred 1+ years experience in a leadership role, preferred Benefits HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital, offers a total rewards package that supports the health, life, career and retirement of our colleagues.
