• Responsibilities Include:

• + Assists in infection prevention and control.

+ Conducts infection control risk assessments for a variety of issues including construction and renovation projects, equipment inspection, procedures etc. + Educates individuals and groups about the risk, prevention, transmission, and control of infection, disease-specific care, appropriate precautions, and appropriate assessments. + Assists unit nurses in identifying and placing patients in appropriate transmission

• based precautions. + Performs basic data analysis.

• Experience and Education Requirements
• + Required
• 3 years of Clinical Related experience with RN license and Nursing Degree + OR
• 3 years Microbiology experience with Medical Technologist Certification and Bachelors Degree in Medical Technology or Public Health + OR
• 2 years Infection Control with RN license and Nursing Degree + OR
• 2 years Epidemiology experience with a Masters Degree in Epidemiology + Or
• 3 years RRT experience with RRT license and active NBRC Credential RRT with Associates in Respiratory Care
