The private dental practice of Dr. Joyce Kim and Team is seeking a Sterilization Technician & Infection Control Coordinator to join their family-like workgroup! Responsibilities include:

Sterilize instruments and equipment following OSHA and CDC guidelines. Prepare and maintain instrument trays for procedures. Clean, disinfect, and set up operatories between patients. Develop, implement, and manage office safety procedures to prevent the spread of infection, including water lines. Monitor sterilization equipment and maintain proper documentation. Assist with inventory and restocking of sterilization area and operatories and ordering supplies. Support clinical staff with various back-office tasks. Support the front office as needed. Assist the doctor with clinical examinations. Adhere to HIPAA regulations while handling patient information and maintaining confidentiality. Qualifications to apply for this position include: Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Surgical techs, vet techs, medical assistants, pharmacy technicians or related professionals often find their rewarding, permanent career positions in dentistry. Strong attention to detail and organization.

Customer service skills:

Easily expresses empathy and models high and traditional standards of professionalism. Preference to work in a true team setting!

Excellent hand-eye coordination:

can you thread a needle, manipulate small items with your hands, at ease with arts and crafts? Passionate desire to work in the healthcare field and help others. Interest in dental anatomy and biology: Must like teeth!

Excellent references:

Stable, Reliable, Dependable. Able-bodied to comfortably and frequently maneuver a fast-paced working environment; if you consciously do NOT want a desk job, you are geared like a dental assistant. Enjoy an amazing work schedule! This position averages 35 hours / week on a four-day workweek! Every Friday is off; No evenings, no weekends!
