The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in educating staff and preventing and controlling infections within our healthcare facility.

• Responsibilities
• Develop and implement policies and procedures
• Monitor and investigate infections within the facility
• Conduct infection risk assessments and provide recommendations for improvement
• Educate staff on protocols and best practices
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure compliance with infection prevention guidelines
• Review medical documentation for accuracy and completeness related to infection control
• Stay current on infection control regulations and guidelines
• Qualifications
• Previous experience in a healthcare setting.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, and medical records
• Strong understanding of training development for healthcare staff
• Registered nurse (RN) qualification is a plus
• Ability to analyze data and trends related to infection rates
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
