Nursing Administration Coordinator RN Infection Prevention Full Time, Salary Position Full Benefits Scheurer Health, a critical access rural hospital, is seeking a full time

Infection Prevention Coordinator Responsibilities:

Responsible for the direction, management, and operations of infection prevention throughout Scheurer Healthcare Develop and provide oversight for the Infection Prevention Program Manage the operations of Infection Prevention Program Serve as a resource in the area of infection prevention for employees, medical staff members, patients, residents and members of the community Oversee surveillance/monitoring and reporting processes related to Infection Prevention Collaborate with outside agencies, networks, associations, healthcare facilities, and other organizations involved in infection prevention and clinical education

Requirements:

Minimum of five years of clinical experience Bachelor's degree in nursing and hold a current RN License Association for Practitioners in Infection Control (APIC) training course or equivalent or will obtain training within one year of date of hire Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
